Newcomer House Tintype Sessions (Saturday & Sunday June 20th & 21st)

Tintype sessions at Newcomer House in Sharpsburg Maryland with the Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area. Metal and Glass options available as well as a custom sized Frame & Easel set to protect your plate for an additional $10ea.

Price is $75 for a traditional sized half plate tintype (4.25x5.5") or $55 for a traditional sized quarter plate tintype (3.25x4.25") with other options also available. In the event of rain or other circumstances where the tintype cannot be made, a full refund will be issued. We apologize as we are unable to offer a refund for tintype bookings you may have missed, due to the nature of our travel and the quick expiration of chemistry (which must be mixed for each event & plate). We will work with you if you're late for your booking. 

Booking times are the order of your tintypes, due to the product being hand crafted, we may run a bit late if we need to re-create a tintype or early if we're running ahead. If we're running ahead and the next person in line is not ready, we will fill that time and get to you as soon as you arrive. We appreciate your patience.

Tintypes are created with the same chemicals and recipes of the 1860's, they will be created and available for you to take home at the end of each day.
