Custom Waterhouse Stops

Five custom Waterhouse Stops for your Lens. These stops are made with a variant of black ABS plastic that is UV resistant. The openings in each stop are fractional from completely open (with a border), 80%, 60%, 40%, and 20%. If you would like custom sizes please let us know after placing the order.

Slot Opening

This is the thickness of the Waterhouse slot in your lens in millimeters. This should be as precise as possible for a good fit, you can always sand down the thickness if the stop is too tight.

For reference, using United States currency - a penny is 1.52mm, dime is 1.35mm, and a nickel is 1.95mm thick.

Slot Width

This is the width of the Waterhouse slot in your lens in millimeters. This should be as precise as possible for a good fit, you can always sand down the width if the stop is too tight.

This is a one-axis measurement, not the measurement of the width around the curve of the lens. Please see graphic on this page for how to take measurements.

The inner diameter of the barrel of the lens where the Waterhouse slot is.
